Sierra Leone- ENA Provides Support in the Ebola Crisis

The 2014 Ebola outbreak is the largest Ebola outbreak in history and the first in West Africa (source: www.cdc.gov). Engage Now Africa is providing as much support as we can to those affected. ENA's Lyn Clinic in Bo, Sierra Leone is just a short drive from Kenema, where a major outbreak has occurred and many people, including a top infectious disease doctor, have tragically died.

With help from Global Relief, who donated and shipped a huge palette of elbow gloves, masks and other supplies to Sierra Leone, we have been able to support and help keep our friends and employees as safe as possible with the necessary protective supplies.  We are also happy to announce that the Lyn Clinic has remained open to care for the people that live in Bo who need medical care.  Our prayers and hope for the best are with them always.

We also received a $10,000 donation specifically for Sierra Leone...thank you very much to big hearted people!!

So many lives and families have been terrorized and lost to this deadly disease. We wish we could do more from a distance but will continue to give all the support we can.

We ask that everyone please keep all of those affected in your prayers.
