Below
is a picture of Mawusi, a 26 year old lady and her five Children on Ada Island. Due to excessive poverty, the children were unable to attend school. They have never gone beyond the River, always confined on the
Island. ENA's education department came to the conclusion that in order for Mawusi
and her children to rise out of poverty, education is vital for the children. This was the reason Engage Now Africa
went in to help put the children
in school. Now Mawusi is Happy that a very heavy burden have been lifted
off her shoulders.
On the Island, in front of Mawusi’s Kitchen.
Taking them across the river, to a place known as
Sogakope to enroll them in a school.
