Ethiopia- Cheleba School Construction Progress

We received pictures of the progress that has been made on our latest school in the village of Cheleba, Ethiopia!!

Our last update on the block school was here!! As you can see, construction is coming along really well and we can't wait until we can open it's doors and provide a quality education for the 480 children in the village!!

Ghana- Thank you!

We are so thankful for a group of amazing sixth graders at a local middle school in Armonk, NY that recently ran a school supply donation drive for our Duusi-Tindongo Primary school in Northern Ghana! 

Instead of throwing away school supplies at the end of the school year, these students organized a donation drive of goods. They were able to gather 32 boxes full of composition books, notepads, pencils, art supplies, binders, backpacks, ruler and other school supplies. These school supplies will be life changing for the primary school students in grades 1-6 who will be be receiving them at the beginning at the school year. 

The school supplies are currently in transit to Baltimore for a cargo shipment headed to Tema, Ghana.

Ghana- ENA's first school in Northern Ghana is Under Construction!!!

We are so excited to share pictures of our first school that is under construction in Northern Ghana!!

Our three unit block school, named The Duusi-Tindongo Primary School, is currently under construction in the village of Duusi. This is ENA's first school to ever be constructed in this region and is being built using locally made concrete blocks. The Duusi-Tindongo Primary School will be used to educate primary students ages 6 and up who are in grades 1-6.

There are already 98 boys and 122 girls enrolled and we expect up to 600 students once the school is complete!!
